About The Book
My career has taken me through five very different professional worlds: Law. Finance. Entrepreneurship. Operations. Executive Coaching.
At first glance, those careers might appear unrelated. Over time, however, I came to recognize that each one taught me lessons that made me more effective in the next.
That became the premise of my book, Why Diversity of Experience Makes You a Better Leader.
The book explores leadership lessons accumulated across my five careers and demonstrates why professional experiences that may initially seem disconnected can ultimately become some of a leader's greatest assets.
Your career does not have to follow a straight line for it to make sense. Sometimes the unexpected chapters teach us the most.
Readers will come away with a newfound understanding of how diversity of experience can transform them into a better leader. Not only will readers see measurable results and growth in their leadership skills, but they will also learn the valuable lessons that Ash has been able to parcel into the top 30 Key C-suite Leadership Lessons.
Ash is sharing these invaluable lessons with you and believes they might be most helpful in shaping your career journey. Those five careers include international tax attorney, CFO, independent consultant & entrepreneur, COO of various talent management & DEI firms, and now executive coach.
